The Drawdown Eco Challenge
Offered in partnership by Project Drawdown and the Northwest Earth Institute’s EcoChallenge, the Drawdown EcoChallenge is a fun and social way to learn about and take action on the climate solutions featured in Drawdown. We are excited to collaborate with Northwest Earth Institute (NWEI), a recognized leader in transformational sustainability education and behavior change for 25 years.
Join us April 4-25 for this engaging and impactful competition. It’s free and open to the public, with action categories that include electricity generation, sustainable food, alternative transportation, and land use. The robust online EcoChallenge platform lets participants view their collective impact in real-time as actions are completed, and prizes are awarded to top teams for added incentive.
While the Challenge officially starts April 4, now is the time to register, invite team members, and begin planning your challenge…plus, you’ll start earning points immediately. We encourage you to create your own teams and invite your entire communities to join: the more who participate, the greater the change we can make.
